New settlement for refugees

A township has been constructed for 1000 refugee families in the village of Yukhari Agjakand and Ashaghi Agjakand of Goranboy province, the State Committee on Refugees reported Monday. The settlement designed for the occupants of tent camps and homeless refugees has been provided with a secondary school, a nursery school and a hospital. Constructing the settlement was the Azerbaijan Reconstruction and Restoration Agency.

AZM83 billion was allocated by the Oil Fund for the construction of the township, which will be populated soon.*
