Police murder eyewitness dies

A resident of Balakan died of wounds he had received three days ago Monday. Sabir Musayev was an accidental eyewitness of the murder of 2 traffic policemen in his native city.

The two policemen were shot to death on June 7 on a road post of the Zagatala-Balakan highway after asking 4 passengers of a car for their ID cards. As a result of the shootout, Sabir Musayev, who happened to be nearby, received three wounds. He spent the last days of his life in coma in the emergency room of the Balakan hospital.

Two of the assailants have been already snatched, while search is underway for the other two.*
