Space Agency Director addresses int'l conference

Director of the Azerbaijan National Space Agency (ANSA) Arif Mehdiyev, in his speech at the UN-organized international conference "Peaceful use of the outer space" in Moscow, spoke of the work carried out by Azeri specialists over the last 10 years. The report was dedicated to the land study from space.

The conference was attended by 500 specialists from 93 countries and devoted to the peaceful use and protection of outer space, its impact on earth, philosophical perception of outer space, etc.*
