Azeri delegation leaves for Baltic states
An Azerbaijani delegation led by Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev left for Estonia and Latvia on Monday.
The delegation includes representatives of the Ministry, Azerbaijan Foundation for Export and Investment Promotions (AZPROMO) and Azerbaijan Investment Company as well as businessmen.
The prospects of Azerbaijan’s economic cooperation with Estonia and Latvia will be discussed during the visit.
Babayev will meet with Estonia’s Prime Minister, Parliament Speaker, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Economy. He will also hold meetings with representatives of the “Caspian Group” Estonia-Azerbaijan Company and Estonia's largest ship repair and shipbuilding group BLRT Group as well as the Baltic Investment Bank.
The Estonia-Azerbaijan business forum will be held in Tallinn on Wednesday. Representatives of about ten Azerbaijani companies operating in the fields of agriculture, industry and banking will participate in the event.
Babayev will also pay a short visit to Latvia on Thursday to meet with the country’s Prime Minister, Parliament Speaker, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Economy.*
