Azercell launches SMS Days campaign

Azerbaijan’s leading cellular operator Azercell has launched a campaign that allows sending more SMS messages and gaining more SMS at the same time.

Azercell Telecom JV subscribers will have a unique opportunity to participate in the SMS Days campaign starting from October 1 through December 31, 2007. After sending 10 SMS (five paid and five free), they could again send five paid SMS messages and then five free ones not only to the numbers within the network, but also in other directions, except short numbers and roaming.

However, five SMS messages not used during the day will not be transferred to the next day.

The campaign benefits Azercell post-paid users, SimSim and BizdenBize subscribers.

Having sent 15 paid SMS, GenjSim tariff package subscribers will have an opportunity to gain 15 free messages. GenjSim users could send free 15 SMS not only to the numbers within the network, but also in other directions, excluding messages sent to short numbers and with the use of roaming. 15 free

SMS messages granted within the campaign will not be transferred to the next month before presenting new awards if they are not used during a given month.

In October 2006 Azercell already launched the SMS Days campaign. But unlike the current one, during the previous campaign customers were presented discount fees for the SMS service only on certain days.*
