Azeri, French music to be played in congruence

The Ministry of Culture and the French embassy in Baku will organize a concert dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the State Chamber Orchestra at the Azerbaijan State Philharmony on December 16.

Works by Azerbaijani composers Gara Garayev, Fikrat Amirov, Jahangir Jahangirov and Vagif Mustafazada as well as French composers George Bizet, Maurice Ravel and Jules Masne will be played in congruence.

The concert will be conducted by senior conductor of the State Chamber Orchestra, renowned art figure Teymur Goychayev.

Prominent art figures, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and other officials are expected to attend the event.
