It's finally happened!

BakuPages has a new look and a new platform. The process was long and complicated…

During the past 5 years we have been loyal to our goal to unite bakunians regardless of their location, nationality, ect.. We were devoted to our endeavor to keep the traditions of our ancestors, which created this unique city and unique culture. We did a lot to advocate the culture of Azerbaijan and Baku in both English and Russian. All in order to unite bakunians in immigration outside of CIS and to destroy negative stereotypes, which were created about Baku and Azerbaijan in Russia.

We hope, that when you visit the new website, you will leave behind everything which has divided us, as well as everything negative and shameful.

We remember our past, believe in our present, and look with hope to the future.

We thank you very much for your patience and loyalty to our aspiration.

A few words about new site:

• In order to enter the site under your registered nickname, please click the button "Sign in" in the top right corner.

• Users of Internet Explorer and Netscape have different interface. Users of Internet Explorer have an interface that is more user friendly.

• Messenger is working now. It is possible to manage the list of blocked users, and to create the list of friends.

• The chat is working. As usual, new users cannot enter chat. They have to get the member status.

• The forums have changed. You have to be registered in order to post messages in forums.

• The users of Bakupages.com can get access to their mail through menu Options -> Status. The mail will work until March 1, 2003. We decided to cancel this service, because we do not control it completely.

If everything works out as planned, before the end of the year, there will be new user options on BakuPages. These options are to be implemented in old the Bakupages, however it has to be postponed due to new platform migration.
