The brilliant beginning

The national team of Azerbaijan on a judo has fine begun performance for Euro-2009 among youth in Yerevan. All our three sportsmen who have left on tatam in the first day of competition, have won medals. MUSHKIYEV Ilgar (55 kg) has received a silver medal, and ASADULLAYEV Rasim (60 kg) and FAGAN Eminoglu (66 kg) have won on "bronze". MUSHKIYEV Ilgar (55 kg) there has begun the tournament way with a confident victory over GARCIA Victor from Spain which has won «ippon». In a quarterfinal he also has purely won against Frenchman DUFOND Maxime and in a semi-final has converged with Romanian LAZAREAN Cosmin. The meeting has passed with full advantage MUSHKIYEV Ilgar which has executed practically all possible throws and receptions - «yuko», "vadza-ari". As consequence, he has won «ippon» and left in the ending where resisted to Russian ACHKINADZE Victor. The contender has spent two throws estimated as «юко» whereas MUSHKIYEV Ilgar could not break a struggle course to own advantage. As a result, it has taken the second place. In a category to 60 kg ASADULLAYEV Rasim started from a pure victory over the Ukrainian KHARCHENKO Artem. After this has broken a barrier in the name of Cypriote KRASSAS Andreas, having got the best at the expense of reception «юко», and in a semi-final has met Frenchman URANI Florent. Unfortunately, fight for ASADULLAYEV Rasim has not developed - it has passed two receptions, estimated as «yuko» and has gone on consolatory fight against Italian ACCORSI Amedeo. The meeting has passed with advantage ASADULLAYEV Rasim, the won purely and become superiority which have won purely by the bronze medallist. At the same time FAGAN Eminoglu (66 kg) in 1/16 endings has understood with Estonian ROOPSON Evert, having won at the expense of two receptions «yuko». Further for it waited BESSI Cedric from Monaco which our judoist has overcome «ippon» and left in a quarterfinal. At this stage FAGAN Eminoglu it has appeared more strongly Hungarian GORJANACZ Zsolt - the throws estimated by judges as «yuko» and "vadza-ari" have deduced it in a semi-final on the Ukrainian of BULYGA Artem. Our judoist could not overcome this barrier, having got on a throw estimated "vadza-ari". In fight for third place FAGAN Eminoglu has converged with Spaniard HERRERO Ares, having won its pure throw.
