Last march to protest referendum
Opposition parties, which have decided to actively boycott the 24 August referendum, marched Tuesday from the 20 January underground station to the former Qalaba cinema. Joining the protest action were several thousand people from 30 parties, chanting "We say no to referendum" and "Demands of Nardaran settlers should be met". Chairman of the Musavat Party Isa Qambar was not among the protesters.
The petition was read in front of the cinema. There were no serious clashes during the march sanctioned by Baku's Mayoral Office.
