Fighting Caviar Smuggling

It is mostly Azeri nationals who are engaged in the caviar contraband from Azerbaijan, head of the Customs Committee Kamaladdin Heydarov told AssA-Irada Tuesday. On the whole, 900 kg of caviar were impounded last year.

According to him, instead of blaming everything on the Customs Committee, everybody must contribute to the combat against this phenomenon, which is already assuming dangerous proportions. Especially since not only sturgeons, but also sprats are now being smuggled.
