Russian LUKoil and Chevron Oronite Company LLC signed a general agreement of dash supplies for lubrication oils. LUKoil vice-president Vladislav Bajenov has said that LUKoil operates two dash producing enterprises in Volgograd and Kstovo, which enable the company to maintain high quality production and profitable lubrication oils. The supplies deal is the first stage of cooperation with Chevron, as the second stage belongs in establishing a joint venture, he said.

This is a 1580km long pipeline from the Tenghiz field in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian to the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk. The first stage of the project is estimated at $2.6 billion, with the initial through-put capacity of the conduit being 28 million tons of crude a year (600,000 barrels a day), the LUKoil Azerbaijan said in a statement Friday.
