Bush seeks global coalition to combat terrorism
US President George W. Bush has called upon the world nations to be more responsible in their policies towards fighting terrorism. "The leaders of all nations must now carefully consider their responsibilities and their future", he said, as he was addressing the 56th session of the UN General Assembly in New York Saturday .
He regretted some governments, which "turn a blind eye to terrorists, hoping the threat will pass them by", saying "they are mistaken". The US President also warned those countries that sponsor terror that there is a price to be paid. "And it will be paid", he said.
President Bush said the risk of terrorism is global and the world civilization is threatened.
The President pledged that the "US would join the world in helping the people of Afghanistan rebuild their country".
