Opposition raged over iranian intrusion

The intrusion of Iranian military aircraft to Azerbaijan's airspace and the entry of Iranian warships into the territorial waters of Azerbaijan have provoked a sharp public outcry and indignation in the country, the PFPA said in a statement Tuesday. The party says the incident has resulted from the undecided position of the Azeri authorities in this issue. If the authorities continue ignoring the problem, the incident may grow into a bigger threat, the statement says. The PFPA calls upon the people of Azerbaijan, as well as 35 million Azeri Turks living in Iran, to condemn Iran's aggressive policy.
Iran's embassy picketed
The Union for Integral Azerbaijan decided Tuesday to picket the Iranian embassy in protest to the illegal two-hour flight of an Iranian military aircraft over Azerbaijan's territorial waters and the intrusion of Iranian warship into Azerbaijan.
The picket took place in front of the school 132, as police had sealed off the embassy. The picket lasted an hour and a half. It was decided to push ahead with protest actions both in the Azerbaijan Republic proper and South Azerbaijan, as well as elsewhere in the world until Iran offers its apology for the wrongdoing.
