Caucasus G4 summit agenda agreed upon
Consultations over the next Caucasus summit of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, and Armenia were held in Moscow on May 21-22. The summit will be part of the CIS Minsk summit on May 31.
During the consultations attended by deputy foreign ministers of the Caucasus countries, the parties agreed on a draft agenda of the "Caucasus Group of Four" summit and issues pertaining to its preparation. A conference, "Peace and development in the Caucasus", to be organized by the Russian Academy of Sciences, was held in Moscow in the run-up to the summit. The conference focused on economic development and regional cooperation in the Caucasus, social, demographic and migration problems of the region, cultural diversity, peace, and prospects of securing peace and security in the Caucasus, a source from Russian embassy told Azernews Friday.
