CASPIAN ECOLOGY CONCERNS DISCUSSED IN TEHRAN
Preparation of a Caspian pollution monitoring program and establishment of zonal laboratories on the Caspian were discussed in Tehran during a second meeting of Caspian working groups dealing with Caspian ecological problems. An agreement has been reached to raise the issue of setting up controlling laboratories in each Caspian nation.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran, and Kazakhstan, according to the state committee on ecology.

CHILDREN's ECOLOGICAL POLICE OPENS SUBSIDIARY IN BAKU
Children's Ecological Police subsidiary under the Caucasus International Children's Ecological Organization "Our House" was opened in Ali-Bayramli last week, as 12 students from the 6-9th grades received CEP membership certificates.
CEP was established in Azerbaijan in 1998. It currently has over 50 members and is the only organization of its kind in the world.
