PARLIAMENT TO RATIFY EUROPEAN HUMAN RIGHTS CONVENTION
The Azerbaijan parliament is expected to ratify the European Human Rights Convention shortly, says head of the President's office department for law-enforcement affairs Fuad Alasgarov.

MM RATIFIES JOINT STATEMENT BY PRESIDENTS
The Milli Mejlis ratified on Tuesday a joint statement by Azeri and Turkish presidents, Heydar Aliyev and Ahmet Necdet Sezer, signed in Ankara on March 12.
The statement underscores a high level of strategic cooperation between the two countries, recognizes Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and demands a soonest pullout of Armenian armed forces from the occupied Azeri lands. The document also reflects Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline related matters and bilateral cooperation in various areas.
