Azeris in Russia feel progress in Moscow’s attitude

Russian President Vladimir Putin is pursuing a policy regarding Azerbaijan different from his predecessor’s, said representatives of Azeri community in Russia Wednesday in a news briefing.
They spoke of the problems faced by 2.5 million Azeris living in Russia and the community’s activities and answered the questions.
Addressing the news conference were also the vice-president of the community, president of the "Inter-North" holding, leader of the National Patriotic Union Party Fuzuli Mammadov (also referred to as Frank Al Capone), authorized representative of the Baku Mayor in Saratov Fikrat Pasiyev, chairman of the Azerbaijan community in Stavropol Fakhraddin Yariyev, president of the "Frank Foundation" in Riazan Elshan Aliyev, and deputy chairman of Russian community in Azerbaijan Viktor Tatarenko.*
