Garabagh status talks underway in Ashgabat

A meeting of Caspian status experts from Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan started in Ashgabat Wednesday. The meeting was agreed upon by Azeri and Turkmen Presidents during the recent Turkic Summit in Istanbul.
The Azeri delegation led by deputy foreign minister Khalaf Khalafov will focus on issues relating to the determination of a median line. The negotiations are scheduled to last till May 5.*
