Highland Jews are one of the Caucasus peoples playing an important role in the historical and cultural life of the region, says President Aliyev in his address to the international scientific symposium "Highland Jews of the Caucasus" underway in Baku.
The President described the symposium as an important event on the country’s socio-political scene. He voiced his confidence that the discussion would duly contribute to further rapprochement of nations and that such meetings will become traditional.*
