Azerbaijan granted permanent observer status at OAS

According to a news release of the Azerbaijan embassy in Washington, the council of permanent members of the Organization of American States (OAS) has provided Azerbaijan with the permanent observer status under the Organization. Speakers expressed a hope that this will lead to the establishment of mutually beneficial relations and comprehensive cooperation between Azerbaijan and American continent countries, according to the Foreign Ministry.
