New Italian ambassador to arrive

The newly appointed Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mrs. Margarita Costa is expected to arrive next week. She will replace Alessandro Fallovalita, whose diplomatic tenure has already expired.
The Italian embassy in Baku told AssA-Irada Wednesday that before the appointment, Mrs. Costa was working at the Italian Foreign Ministry. Azerbaijan will be the first country in her ambassadorial carrier.
Mr. Fallovalita, who is expected to leave Azerbaijan Wednesday, has been in office since 1997.*
