COE acceptance process at halt?

Some opposition newspapers have quoted the head of the President’s office public and political section Ali Hasanov as saying that the Council of Europe intends to postpone the process of admitting Azerbaijan to the organization. The publications explain that the reason for this is the continuing refusal of opposition MPs to attend parliament sessions.
Mr. Hasanov is reportedly saying that should this happen, it will be Sabir Rustamkhanli, leader of the Civil Solidarity Party, and Ali Karimov, leader of the PFPA reform-wing, will be held responsible.
The mentioned opposition leaders, in turn, say responsibility rests on those who have falsified elections.*
