Baku is hosting the third exhibition of wax figures from St. Petersburg Museum. The exhibition displays 22 exhibits, largely politicians, including Madam Tussot, who was the first to fashion wax figures and opened their exhibition in 1835, Nicole the first, Napoleon Bonopart, Joann d’Ark, Suvorov, Pushkin, his wife Natalya Goncharova, his duel murderer Dantes, etc.
Also in display are figures of film stars, such as Merlin Monroe, Charley Chaplain, Di Caprio, as well as film heroes Frankenstein and Fantomas, Rock-n-Roll star Elvis Presley, etc.
The exhibition is expected to last till late March.*
