Police have snatched one of those who have broken into the apartment of the chief doctor of the 5th City Hospital of Baku Ziya Asadov in Sulutapa settlement in the vicinity of Baku. The detained is said to be a Baku resident.
An Interior Ministry source has declined to elaborate further information in the interests of the investigation.
On December 7, a group of five masked people broke into Dr. Asadov’s apartment, intimidated the host and his family and stole $1,500 and jewelry. The gang wounded the host’s brother, who had tried to resist the assailants, and escaped from the scene.
Investigation has been launched by the Binagadi district police unit of Baku.
