Forest program launched
The Implementation of the national "Forestry and forest protection" program has started, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources reported Monday.
The project commenced with planting of trees in Gobustan district along the Baku-Shamakhi highway. 33 sorts of trees will be planted in a space of 2,000 hectares.
The program should be implemented within 5 years, with plantings in Khyzy, Garadagh, Sabirabad, Saatli, Imishli and Kurdamir.*
