Ecology Ministry sets up commission on mammals, birds

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has set up a commission to register mammals and birds, according to a competent source.

The commissioners are expected to convene for their first meeting Thursday in order to develop a mechanism for registration of mammals and birds in preserves, reserves and hunting areas. It is noted that the measure has never been taken before, giving rise to inability to make an exact calculation for endangered animals. The situation could have led to extinction of most of the rare animals.*
