Garabagh handicapped press ahead with deadly protest action

The hunger strike by the Garabagh war handicapped, launched on January 21 in protest to the deteriorating social problems, entered into a new - deadly phase. The thirst-strike has been underway for 2 days, according to the deputy chairman of the society of the handicapped Gunduz Rahimov.

He said 7 people are taking part in the action, including chairman of the society Etimad Asadov. The hungry are under permanent medical control.

Mr. Rahimov added that the authorities have not yet responded to the protest action.*
