Central Clinical Hospital cost $29.5mln
Some 10 state-owned medical institutions have been commissioned in Azerbaijan in the past few years, including the Central Clinical Hospital valued at $29.5 million, minister for public health Ali Insanov told journalists Friday. The Clinic offers treatment of diseases that were not dealt with in Azerbaijan earlier. 50 doctors from the clinic have undergone specialized 3 to 6-month courses in Turkey.
Mr. Insanov said Azeri and Russian health ministries are expected to sign an agreement enabling Azeri medics to upgrade their qualifications in Russia.*
