Russia, Azerbaijan mitigate transport terms

The Russian-Azeri transport agreement, signed during Russian President Putin's visit to Azerbaijan, will considerably facilitate the activities of transporters, the president of "AzerAvtoNagliyyat" state concern Hussein Husseinov told AssA-Irada Tuesday.
According to him, earlier transporters of the two countries used to pay various fees in road, ecological, sanitary, etc outposts. Besides, they were also suffering from rampant corruption. From now onwards, any transporter will make a simultaneous payment, which is much fewer, before departure to another country. Such a practice will enable to decrease prices for imported products, Mr. Husseinov thinks. Both countries will benefit from the agreement, he concluded.*
