Two people were killed in two separate railway accidents, as an electrical locomotive steered by engine driver Vasif Gafarov run over a 56-year-old resident of Shamkir province Firudun Aliyev. In another accident, a steam locomotive driven by Vahid Valiyev ran over a man aged between 50 and 60.
Investigations are underway into both accidents.*
