 | MP salary doubled |
Salaries of MPs, which until recently constituted 630,000 manats per month, will from now onwards make up 1,260,000 manats. Also doubled have been wages of the Milli Mejlis executive office, speaker of the Milli Mejlis Murtuz Alasgarov said Thursday.
The rise is a part of a recent presidential decree, envisioning an increase in salaries of government workers.
Besides the salary, MPs will also be getting as much for deputy expenses.*
