Opposition joining for a new election

The Civil Solidarity, Civil Unity, Democratic Independence, Social Justice, National Unity of the Integral Azerbaijan, Vahdat, PFPA (reformers), PNIA, ALP, ADP, and ASDP political parties signed a statement Friday calling for a joint combat against the illegally elected parliament and a new parliamentary election.
The parties discussed the post-election situation in the country. The ADP secretary Aydin Guliyev suggested that an item on public protest actions be introduced into the appeal. Deputy chairman of the PNIA M. Zulfugarli said it was necessary to put an end to the split in the opposition and relinquish personal ambitions.
It is indicative that representatives of Musavat ignored the meeting.*
