Aliyev receives Turkish researchers

President Aliyev received the honorary chairman of the Marmara Group of the Center for strategic and social researches Akkan Suver and the head of the Azeri-Turkish inter-parliamentary group, Turkey's Nato spokesman MP Samil Ayrim Monday.

Mr. Suver briefed the President of the Center’s recent activities.

H. Aliyev spoke highly of the center's efforts toward developing Azeri-Turkish relations and wished it further success. He also underscored the importance of a recent Turkic summit in Istanbul.

A. Suver and S. Ayrim reportedly visited the Azeri-Turkish Youth Friendship Society and the "Tafakkur" University last week, where the former was awarded the title of an honorary doctor in economics.*
