 | Greek embassy organizes lecture at Slavonic University |
A lecture dedicated to a renowned Greek writer, poet and philosopher of the last century Nicos Kazantzaki, as well as his contacts with Azerbaijan, was read at the Slavonic University of Baku Saturday.
N. Kazantzaki has repeatedly traveled to Azerbaijan and described the country in his works. The lecture was delivered by the president of the “International society of N. Kazantzaki’s friends” Mr. Stassinakis. In addition to students and professors of the University, attending the lecture were ambassadors and diplomats of foreign countries.
The lecture started a series of events to be organized by the Greek embassy in Azerbaijan in an effort to inform the people of Azerbaijan of Greek culture and improve bilateral relations.*
