Low salaries, poor level of teaching, bad quality of textbooks, bribery, as well as widespread propaganda of various religious sects by missionaries in schools were discussed Saturday at a roundtable “Safeguarding national values and clothing in secondary school”.
The discussion was organized on the initiative of the Civil Unity Party and attended by representatives of political parties, students and teachers, as well as youth organizations.
In conclusion of the discussions, calls were made to put an end to bribery and politicization of the education, introduce a standard school uniform, provide Russian language the same status as other foreign languages, etc.*
