 | Azeri winery in Ukraine doubles production |
The Azerbaijan winery in Ukraine’s Snezhnoye city has doubled production following reconstruction in February. Every month, the plant transfers $2,700 in lease payments to the Ukrainian budget, according to an Azeri government source.
The situation improved after the former ministry of state property of Azerbaijan had held talks with the Ukrainian government on returning the plant to Azerbaijan.
The same source says it has yet been impossible to reclaim two other wineries in Russia’s Rostov region due to the lack of a corresponding agreement with Russia.*
