 | Carmen to be performed collectively |
George Bizet’s "Carmen" opera will be staged at the Azerbaijan Opera and Ballet Theater on May 12 by Azeri, Ukrainian and Belorussian artists. The part of Carmen will be played by Ukrainian actress Angelina Shvachka and of Jose by Belorussian singer Vladimir Rayevski.
The cast also includes Azeri soloists Garina Karimova, Shahlar Guliyev and Ali Asgarov. The orchestra will be conducted by Yalchin Adigozalov.*
