Regional chambers of commerce to meet in Baku

A regional symposium of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of GUUAM member-states (Georgia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova) is due at Hyatt Regency Hotel of Baku May 3-4. It is expected to identify the role of chambers in transitional economies and focus on prospects of regional economic cooperation.

The symposium is being organized by the Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and will be attended by chairmen and representatives of GUUAM chambers. Also participating in the symposium will be representatives of Turkey, US, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Bulgaria.*
