 | Co-op program with IMF ready |
Director of the IMF mission for Azerbaijan Mr. John Wickman-Linn, who visited Baku lately, discussed a 3-year program of cooperation with the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee.
The parties exchanged views on contours of the tax and customs policies, ways of facilitating customs procedures, new customs tariffs, assistance to the committee on part of the IMF and other international organizations.
The IMF mission director recommended to gradually reduce the number of goods subject to specific customs duties.*
