Exhibition underway at miniature center

20 fine art works and 7 tapestries by Lubov Bukharova are displayed at the Baku miniature center. Most of the works are landscapes performed in oil. The “Night”, “Spring etude”, “Lights of Baku” and “Birds” tapestries are made using mixed techniques on woolen and silk fabrics.
L. Bukharova left an art school in Ulyanovsk in 1972 and has lived and worked in Azerbaijan since 1974. She learned carpet painting from Peoples’s artist Latif Karimov. Her paintings are currently kept at private collections in the US and Germany.*
