 | Gas pipeline to be built in 630 days |
Construction of the Garadagh-Digah-Severnaya Power Station pipeline is to take 630 days (21 months) after an agreement with contractor company is signed, according to the general director for the project executive group Elkhan Mammadov.
The pipeline will be 90km long. The 45km section from Garadagh till Digah will be built of pipes 1,000mm in diameter, while from Digah till the power station – 700mm. To supply the station with gas, two compressors will be built – operating and reserve ones. Depending on the season, entry pressure will range between 12 and 15 bar and exit pressure 37 bar.
The pipeline will have yearly throughput capacity of 10-12 billion cubic meters of gas.*
