 | Int’l conference on problems of disabled Garabagh held |
The committee for human rights of the Garabagh War Disabled held an international hotel on “Problems in building the rule of law in Azerbaijan” at Hyatt Regency Hotel of Baku Wednesday.
The objective of the event is to focus on social attitude toward the disabled in the wake of abolition of their Society and establishment of an alternative group, etc.
Attending the conference were MPs, human rights activists, foreign diplomats. Video cassettes documenting police quelling of a protest action by the disabled were demonstrated. Beating of the disabled was described as inhumane action on part of police.*
