 | Privatization fetches high profits |
As of April 1, AZM478.2 billion entered the state budget from privatization of state property, according to the Ministry of State Property. AZM247 billion of the amount was contributed by minor privatization.
In the first of quarter of 2001, AZM19.2 billion was earned. 87 small enterprises were denationalized in March, while 12 medium and large enterprises converted into joint stock companies.*
