IMF delegation expected on visit

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation is expected to visit Baku April 25, according to the deputy minister for economics Ogtai Hagverdiyev.
The Fund mission is expected to become familiar with the progress of structural reforms and the poverty eradication program. The government is expected to take the proposals and recommendations of the group into account.
Besides, the experts will study the course of the government’s IMF-funded three-year development program launched in 2000.*
