Record tax collection in history

Ministry of Tax has conducted its first general meeting to discuss progress achieved since second half of 1999, the Ministry told AssA-Irada Friday.
Particular attention was paid to the new tax code enacted on January 1, 2001. It was highlighted that for the first time in Azerbaijan’s fiscal history AZM2,552,000,000,000 in tax was collected in 2000.*
