Coordinator of the “Children’s village – SOS” project for Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan Mrs. Eva Dusher has been in Baku since Saturday to become familiar with the work of the “Children’s villages – SOS – Azerbaijan” association, active since 1999.
According to the director of the association Mr. Zeynally, Mrs. Dusher has said she is pleased with the children’s village in Baku, which covers an area of 5 hectares and accommodating 42 orphans.
Children’s villages SOS were first set up in 1949 in Austria’s Imst city. Today, they exist in more than 130 countries of the world.*
