Economic journalists receive grants

The training courses organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Foundation in cooperation with US “Internews” organization in late 2000 for economic journalists completed recently.

President of the Foundation Sabit Bagirov told AssA-Irada Monday that articles by 5 journalists had been approved. “Internews” is to conclude contracts with winners (Vugar Bayramov and Shahin Mammadov from “Azadliq” newspaper, Rauf Nasirov from “Echo”, Mirbaghir Guliyev from “Khalq Gazeti” and Dunya Sakit from “Yeni Musavat”) and provide each one of them a grant of $500 for further journalistic investigations.*
