Baku Stock Exchange holds first share auction
The Baku Stock Exchange, set up last year, has administered the first share auction. According to the chairman of the Exchange Ulvu Hajiyev, the volume of traded shares of “Garadagh Cement” and “Sumgayit Chemical Construction” joint stock companies constituted approximately AZM1.5 million.
He indicated that the Exchange founders had already fulfilled their financial commitments.
The next share auction has been scheduled for April 16.*
