European chess cup qualification starts

Qualifications for the European chess cup for men started at the national chess center Thursday with 12 players involved, including 7 international grand masters, director of the center Fuad Jafarov told AssA-Irada Thursday.
Winner of the tournament, being conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will qualify for the European championship due in Orchid, Macedonia, from June 1 till 16.*
