Bars cracked down

More than a month ago the Mayor of Baku Hajibala Abutalibov signed a resolution on work schedule of bars, discotheques and other entertainment facilities. Head of the consumer market and services department under the Mayor’s office A. Bagirov told AssA-Irada Wednesday that there are around 300 bars in the capital, of which only 7 are licensed by the department.
According to him, serious measures are being planned on in the near future. The unlicensed facilities will be shut down, while the rest will be open till midnight.*
